oh. my. god. Big Beat Boutique was so FECKING brilliant last night. It was a serious epiphany. It absolutely lived up to everything I've ever heard about it... Last night's djs were Dan the Automater (from Handsome Boy Modelling School), Midfield General, and Phil from the LoFis (the latter two being residents. mmm. residents. uuuugggghhuuuuck.) I've always said that there are three components to a good night out: good club, good music, and good crowd. BBB at the Concorde II had all 3, and even *gasp* nice security on top of it!! Long and short, I dance 5 hours nonstop. NONSTOP. Quite possibly the best night out I've had in Brighton, period. (and consider that I've had ALOT of nights out). I'm still glowing from the wonderful BBB experience. ahhhhh. It was all just perfect, I mean, *I* was On the Floor at the Boutique last night, teeeeeeeee! ...and this goes on every fortnight, god help me. =) Fatboy Slim is coming back on the 18, and then on the 20th, Death in Vegas are there. not to mention Moby on Tuesday. I swear I won't be able to handle the excitement, I'll end up just flailing my arms about and dashing into the sea like a madwoman possessed by the holy gift of Big Beat. I wish I was more eloquent so I could really describe how wonderful it was, but I think my gushing accomplishes the same thing. I hope.
