Pretty Songs 4 October 2001

Both the S&M and the Playground portions combined forced like the proper indie juggernaut we are to create a show full of very pretty songs. Not "beautiful", "fey", or "precious", but "pretty!" So yes, Bjork and Belle & Sebastian were played. See the playlists for details.

The Post-Velentine's Sex Show 15 Feb 2001

It's the day after Valentine's Day, and hopefully everyone got a little play. Even if you didn't, you can make believe like you had with Scott, kicking it bachelor-style with the best sex-related songs. Some were full of lust, others instead dealt with things going awry (premature ejacuation, masterbation, and one night stands to name a few), but all shared the common theme of S - E - X. We started in Iceland and worked our way East around the globe, finally ending up in Japan, all the while showcasing the best in International indie rock. M also aired her exclusive interview with Reynard from the Latvian band BrainStorm, and a prize pack of cds, including signed BrainStorm cds, was won by a lucky listener.
