UNKLE "Psyence Fiction"

What makes this cd amazing is the guest stars. The Thom Yorke track is so mellow and relaxing. The Richard Ashcroft track has great ochestral work and a great melody -- the best track imho. But I love the girl who sings on Bloodstain, she's amazing.

Unbelieveable Truth "Almost Here" (UK promo digipak)

Got it more for the packaging than anything -- the digipak is really cool. I saw them open for Tori Amos a few years ago, and I quite liked their music, too. They just need to loosen up a bit.

Uncut magazine "Volume 9" (UK Import)

Has some great songs from SFA, Oasis, and Stereolab, but not much else.

Under the Covers (homemade)

This is a compilation cd I made from an absolute horde of cover songs I had. It brings together Mogwai, NIN, REM, Supergrass, Bjork, and Fountains of Wayne together singing a truly bizarre collection of old hits. HM

Undertones "The Undertones" (UK import)

One day I was just in the mood for old punk with good melodies, and I was talked into this. My punk side is there, it's just in hibernation. But every now and then..... pow!
